<aside> 📎 In addition to these principles, Post Office Coöperatie U.A. acknowledges the following codes:

OUR PRINCIPLES:

  1. FOR FREE FUTURES: On the space and its use.
  2. FROM ABILITIES TO NEEDS: On member contributions.
  3. CONTINUOUSLY DEMOCRATIC: Scales of decision-making.
  4. TRUST TRANSPARENCY: Staying honest.
  5. ALWAYS ACCOUNTABLE: On actions and consequences.
  6. COMMON CONFLICT: On resolutions.
  7. CHANGE EVERYTHING: Wanting to evolve.
  8. FEDERATE: Just one node among many.

We might not be a common-pool resource in the traditional sense but we do aspire to function as one, which is why we’ve looked for guidance to Elinor Ostrom’s seminal book, “Governing the Commons” in which she lays out eight design principles for common-pool resources.
